Responsible gambling
Gambling is paid entertainment, not a way to make money. If it is putting pressure on you, free and confidential help exists.
Signs that play is getting out of hand
- You play to win back earlier losses.
- You stake money meant for bills or rent.
- You hide how much you play from people close to you.
- You borrow to play.
- You feel irritable when you try to stop.
Limits that work
- Set a monthly amount before opening an account and do not change it after a loss.
- Set a time limit per session.
- Do not play when tired, upset or after drinking.
- Use the operator's deposit limit and self-exclusion tools.
Why the licence matters
HGC-licensed operators must offer deposit, time and loss limits and self-exclusion, and do not accept players under 21. With an operator that has no Greek licence, such as Bizzo, these tools depend on its own policy.

The same database's complaints include a player who asked for a 7-day pause and says the casino did not apply it. If you request a limit or self-exclusion, do it in writing, keep a copy and check the next day that it is in force. Self-exclusion at one operator does not exclude you from others.
